Java Ijen-Raung Arabica comes from Bondowoso, Situbondo and Banyuwangi regencies in East Java and was registered as a geographical indication on 10 September 2013.
Its registration number is IDG000000023. DJKI's GI catalogue describes fairly high acidity, an intense aroma with soft floral notes, a medium body and a particular sweetness, not too bitter and not astringent. The harvest runs about April to August; the sources differ slightly, April to July from Bondowoso and April to August from a cooperative in Situbondo. From here comes Dandy Dharmawan's Ijen Lestari, at 1,550 m, placed in the Cup of Excellence Indonesia in 2021, 2022 and 2023; in 2023 its carbonic maceration natural lot took 1A with 91.41. At Koro, the coffees from this farm are called Ijen Lestari CM 91, Lactic Natural and Yellow Bourbon.
