Kepahiang Robusta comes from Kepahiang Regency in Bengkulu and was registered as a geographical indication on 13 November 2018, by DJKI's catalogue.

Its registration number is IDG000000072. DJKI's GI catalogue describes aromas of banana, tea and pepper, with a little spicy heat. Kepahiang neighbours Rejang Lebong, home of Rejang Lebong Robusta, Bengkulu's second robusta GI, and Empat Lawang in South Sumatra, which has a robusta GI too. BPS recorded 90,500 hectares of coffee in Bengkulu in 2024, producing 55,634 tonnes, nearly all of it from smallholder farms.
