Bengkulu

Koro's summary, from the sources below

Bengkulu has two coffee GI regions on this map, both robusta: Kepahiang Robusta and Rejang Lebong Robusta.

Kepahiang was registered in 2018 and Rejang Lebong in 2019, and the two regencies are neighbours. DJKI's GI catalogue describes Kepahiang with aromas of banana, tea and pepper, and Rejang Lebong with a long list running from spice, chocolate and brown sugar to butter. Both also border Empat Lawang in South Sumatra, which has a robusta GI of its own. BPS recorded 90,500 hectares of coffee and 55,634 tonnes of production in Bengkulu in 2024, nearly all of it from smallholder farms; its production was the fifth largest in that year's provincial table.
