Lampung Robusta comes from Lampung Barat Regency and was registered as a geographical indication on 13 May 2014.

Its registration number is IDG000000026, and it is the only coffee GI in Lampung Province. DJKI's GI catalogue notes sweetness, a touch of acidity, and a good aroma, flavour and aftertaste. According to the head of Lampung's provincial trade office, the main coffee harvest in Lampung falls around July, August and September, a statement for the whole province. BPS recorded 152,609 hectares of coffee and 120,379 tonnes of production in Lampung in 2024, the second largest figure in that year's provincial table, all of it from smallholder farms.
