Kayong Utara Liberica comes from Kayong Utara Regency in West Kalimantan and was registered as a geographical indication on 2 October 2023.

Its registration number is IDG000000135, and it is the only coffee GI in Kalimantan on this map. The species is liberica. DJKI's GI catalogue describes a distinctly fruity cup: lemon, lime, blueberry, cherry, green apple and banana, plus caramel, vanilla, spice, lavender and chocolate. The map's two other liberica GIs are Rangsang Meranti in Riau and Tungkal in Jambi. BPS recorded 7,455 hectares of coffee in West Kalimantan in 2024, producing 2,975 tonnes, all of it from smallholder farms.
